What this self-assessment is for

Where to start is the first and hardest question in most plants' digital transformation. This check maps today's reality on the floor across six areas with short questions and suggests concrete first steps for the two weakest. The questions are based on situations VOLSOFT sees on site; they measure current practice, not a product.

How it differs from an official maturity report

This check is informal. In Turkey, some support programmes, such as KOSGEB's SME Digital Transformation Support Programme, may require an official maturity report in set formats from authorised consultants; check the programme's own call for the current terms. This tool does not replace that report; it helps you clarify your needs before applying. See our guide to digital transformation support in Turkey.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions

What is digital maturity in manufacturing?

Digital maturity describes how automatically a plant collects production data, how well its systems are connected and how far its decisions rely on that data. It covers organisation and skills as much as technology.

Is this an official maturity assessment?

No. It is an informal self-check written by VOLSOFT; it does not use the questions of SIRI, TÜSSİDE DDX or any other official framework. Some support programmes, such as KOSGEB's SME Digital Transformation Support Programme, may require an official maturity report prepared by authorised consultants.

How is the score calculated?

Each of the six areas has three questions, each answered on a 0–4 scale. An area score is the average of its three answers expressed out of 100; the overall score is the average of the six areas and maps to a level from 1 to 5 in bands of 20.

Why does the result highlight two areas?

The two lowest-scoring areas are usually where the quickest gains are. For each, the result lists concrete first steps and related guides.

Are my answers stored?

No. The assessment runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Answers are kept only in the address bar, so you can share the result by link or save it as a PDF.
